Rolex Prince Info

I recently inherited my grandfather's watch collection. This Rolex Prince Elegan was one of the Rolex watches that I am having trouble getting information on. It is 14k gold with 44 diamonds around the bezel. The case back is marked 56000 with 3531 underneath. The number 129 is stamped sideways. The case measures 22mm across, 38mm lug to lug, and 16mm between lugs. It has a 15 jewel movement. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

It's rare, but not highly desirable. Probably would sell in the $1000-1500 range with a service.MaYBe a BiT moRe bEcaUse Of DIamonDs And GoOD CONdItIoN

Are any of the bubblebacks highly desirable? If so, can you give me a couple of examples? I have several of them.

If there's original dials on them yes, and California dials bring extra premiums. You'd have to post pics to tell If you got any real winners. Having an extensive collection from a family member must be really cool

That seconds hand reminds me of the Milgauss a bit. Ha.

Very cool collection, fastest way learn about each of them is to get the model number and serial off of each of them and start googling.

If I were to sell any of these, what would be the best way? Ebay?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here

I do not like the case numbers. They look too fresh for an old piece.
I cannot find any info on reference number.
The second hand is obviously not original
Cannot comment on dial - not enough detail
Movement quality does not look very high- I would expect better from a vintage Rolex

This is definitely not a Prince movement or case- the Prince elegant were a different line that Rolex brought out ( similar to Tudor vs Rolex)

Obviously the diamonds on the case re not original

Julian

PS Here is my Prince elegant

See quality of movement compared with yours

It's a real Rolex movement and case, theres no reason to fake a Rolex that's not worth more than $1000-2000.

:-) No comment on watch but I have seen dozens of these made up from old Gruen cases etc. marked Rolex on dial and some with the Rolex movements. Especially in GB they have been doing reproductions for decades so don't think they don't fake less expensive watches. Just a point of information should anyone be looking for one. M
