Barcode/serial number on side of case...

Why is it some watches have what appears to be a barcode or serial number on the side of the case at the 9 o'clock position...is this a sticker or something?

Some sellers in the sales section have watches w/this and those without...

Just a barcode sticker. Nothing important as far as the buyer is concerned.

The small round bar code on case is only of use at the Rolex factory its just keeps track to where ever that completed watch model is stored nothing more. And like all the watch stickers no real use only to protect watch in transit others purely for Rolex inventory.

Lol. Lol

How long did you have the sticker on the crystal before this occurred?? That is too funny.

I once bought some new windshield wipers and could not for the life of me figure out why the damn things just didn't work very well. They had come highly recommended from someone at the store when I bought them. I drove around with them like this for over a week. Finally it dawned on me that there were these fancy little plastic protectors that should have been removed before use. They worked perfectly after that.
