Middle Eastern Delight!
Picked up new 2013 SS Daytona from the Riyadh AD, No waiting list, negotiated 15% off UK list price. Is this a good deal? My wrist feels much lighter (as well as my wallet!!) now after wearing my 16600 for over 10 years..

Congratulations and welcome! That is an amazing deal, not only because of the discount, but because you didn't have to wait.
I have visited many ADs across the US and Europe and never found one with a Black SS Daytona in stock. And definitely no AD in the US would ever discount one at all. In fact, the larger ADs, like Wynn Las Vegas, will not even put you on the waiting list unless you have previously purchased at least 3 Rolexes from them. Congratulations again and enjoy the watch! |

Fantastic, tax free purchase and discount. Seddiqi in Dubai will give 10% on most steel stock, even if it has to be ordered. ! month for a Daytona, Black Blue and oddly the dated Submariner. Just bought a Sub for my son and got about 15%, saving me Ł1000 on the UK price. Luckily I have a home in Dubai and one in the UK, so tax is not on my conscience. Although HMRC may beg to differ.
However, congrats on the purchase, steel Daytona, my daughter's next watch, care of dad's retirement fund.... 5 years in the UK to get one... |
