Icon20 Vintage Sub Lug width

When collectors refer to lug width as in "good tight lugs" what are they concerned with specifically?

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

If the space betwen the legs....er lugs, has been excessively rubbed and eroded away from movement of the end link, the bracelet will never fit tight...there will always be a loose fit.

Loose lugs - inside, fat lugs -outside

Loose lugs is often also accompanied with worn out (or barely visible) serial number.

Not sure about "tight lugs". "Fat lugs" is sometimes used to indicate lugs that haven't been over polished.
