Hiya all

Are Rolex watches dates meant to roll over to the next days date at 12am?
Only reason I ask is because my blnr is currently at 1:30am and its still not showing the new day date in the Cyclops , it is half way between yesterday's date and today's date, is this normal for it to take such along time to change fully!

Which model?

If it's a new watch, you might want to cycle through the full month. Usually that solves it

Cycle through the calendar and see if that helps. New watches can stick a bit

It's all sorted itself out now, like matey said maybe its because it's a relatively new watch so maybe it was sticking a bit!

There has a been a couple of threads in regards to this issue over the past few years....
I does seem that some get completely stuck, and others will click over in a slow motion effect (over the course of a few hours).
It does appear to be a reoccurring issue for some, and they have needed to ship the watch back to an RSC to be rectified. Even after cycling the date through a few turns, the date ends up stuck again after few days or weeks. Others have reported no problem after the initial catch of the date wheel.
Hopefully you'll have no more issues in the future, but on the off chance it does happen again, take it back to be looked at....

I thought this was something to do with when you set the date. If you set it in the morning it will change at midnight, if you change it in the evening it will change at noon. Or did I just dream that?

The dial has 12 hour markers so the date will change just like all mechanical watch after two complete turns around the dial.
