Now this is what I'd really love to see come out of Basel this year!!
Yes, guys.....what I'd really love for Rolex to come up with is.....
A CERAMIC SS GMT-II with a PEPSI bezel and a solid and very sturdy matching Jubilee bracelet....the new type with all solid links and concealed clasp.....a very special one to take the weight of that watch. Now that would be something to really drool over!!!!

I'm with you JJ. I think that would look awesome. That should be the next GMT to come out. I've heard there are issues with the red & blue running together on the besel. Any truth to that?

No idea, pal.....but I'm sure Rolex can mix and match the two colours. What a superb combo that would be....coupled with the new type Jubilee!! WOW!!!

Completely agreed JJ!!! I like your thinking!
Also, I'd really like to see an old model brought back, like the Bubblebacks from waaay back when. Even if its only a limited edition. Since its gonna be the company's 100th anniversary, it would be a great way to celebrate.

That totally works for me Bo. Jubillee bracelets are not meant for sports watches.

I'd love to see that one....but I doubt Rolex would put a jubilee bracelet on it. I just hope the lettering for GMT MASTER II is red, as shown in the pic!

I have to concur with a few others I like a jubilee bracelet, but not on a sports watch.
I hope they update the Submariner with the ceramic bezel, clasp and solid links and all the rest of the GMT IIc"s features. I have heard it will be the SD that got the nod this year and not the Sub. We'll all see soon enough!

JJ I promise you if what your prediction comes true, I will be the first to buy it among TRF members. Even thought I am a proud owner of a GMT IIc (Black)

I would be "cock a hoop" if they just brought out black/white relief dials for the 116520 (a la 6263).
A 40mm datejust option would benefit the range also. 1 1 1 1

Nice Idea JJ!!!
Altough the case of the new GMT II Is kindda big, some even complain the bracelet looks smalish against the new case, don't you think this would be more noticeable with the Jubilee bracelet? Can someone superimpose or photoshop a jubilee bracelet on one of the above photos to have an aidea?

Loose the ceramic bezel, polished center links and green hand and I may even sell a kidney off for that one

Yes, that would be nice. The whole idea is to introduce this new PEPSI CERAMIC GMT-II only with the new style Jubilee - what an awesome combo that would be!!

X2. I think the need to have a larger sizes DJ in the 39mm range. I bet it would sell well!

Me and the rest of the world are holding our breath waiting for that combo!
As an engineer who does some work with ceramic I can tell you anything is possible. Just glue it in 2 pieces, it would be almost invisible. If they can fabricate car engine and pistons from ceramic and run it without any oil then they can make a colored bezel for a watch! (Yes, ceramic engines have been made and they do run without oil or cooling) |

Love the Pepsi, but not on a jubilee.
What the heck is "cock a hoop"? |
