I worry it might come off looking like a fake. That's what I would assume if I saw that combo. Plus unlikely it fits properly.

Tough choice as the SS YM2 is beautiful too... but I think I would stick to the Panda.

Thanks for the input so far. The reason I am exploring this swap is that I find myself not wearing the ROO Panda at all. Partially because of wrist time going to other watches and partially due to the fear of scratching the bezel. My preference is to aim for a WG SkyD or a YG YM2 but that would require a significant cash outlay in addition to selling the Panda...thoughts?

I wouldnt personally...maybe consider one of the ROOs with the ceramic bezel. If Rolex, what about a Smurf?

I would rather sell one or two of your steel Rolexes than the Panda.

Looking at the collection in your signature and assuming you grew bored of the Panda ... yeah, why not. YM II is a cool watch. If it is only because of fear of scratching the bezel, you will probably regret the swap.

I don't know if I would because I personally prefer the Panda but if you don't enjoy it anymore do the trade and be happy!

Looking at it in an isolated context I would say no way Jose.. But looking at your collection your Panda fills a role more than adequately covered by the 44mm Novelty, and you have a Jumbo which is all you need for AP really..
So if it sings to you, I say yeah go for it |

If the YG YM2, WG Sub or SkyD is what you really want then go for it, as the SS YM2 will end up being a transitional piece before you end up getting what you really want. So I say just do it and get what you want instead of settling for the in between

URGENT - was just offered a BNIB WG SkyD for ~US$32.5k...but the shop will only give me ~US$13k for my AP ROO Panda on bracelet...not sure I have time to find a buyer on the forum for my panda for a better price without losing this opportunity as the shop only has 1 WG SkyD...I would have to top up ~US$19-20k. What to do?!?!?!?! I am going nuts here trying to make a decision...

If you really want it put down deposit and take a week or so to try to sell the Panda, the price they are offering on the Panda too low in my opinion. For the record I say keep the Panda!! Good luck deciding.
