DD stands for Day-Date. This means that it has both the weekday, and the day of the month.
In the US, it is also called The President/Presidential |

I would say in historical importance and in no particular order:
1. Day-Date President 2. Submariner 3. Daytona 4. GMT's 5. DateJust By your question I am assuming you mean models and not particular versions or series. That would be even more complicated and really open to endless debate. I don't think many can argue with these being 5 of the most important Rolex models ever made. Just an opinion, others might very!

1. The YG DD. It's the iconic Rolex. A classic.
2. The SS Daytona. It's the grail watch of all of the WISs. 3. The Sub. Any flavor. It's the watch you get when you want a Rolex. 4. The GMT. Any flavor. It's the other great tool watch of Rolex. 5. The DateJust. It's a tradition. Just my humble opinion, y'all!
