Welcome and this is my suggestion as well. Above all try on several and the right one will become obvious, hopefully.

It's one of my favorite rolex references. Way less common than the sub or gmt. And it's a rolex sport model that comes with a white dial. What's not to love. Good luck!

The Explorer II is in my opinion the most comfortable Rolex that I own. You will love it. I prefer the black dial.

It's a very comfortable, versatile watch and very unappreciated, in my opinion.

If I'm not mistaken, the 16750 is a GMT, which is a good choice.

Welcome to the site! Lots of first Rolex watches to own. Good luck on your first watch. Make sure you post a wrist shot on what ever watch you do decide to purchase. Assuming it is a Rolex!

The exp is a nice watch but i prefer the gmt ( 16710) if gmt function is needed..
The most important is that you like it!

Explorer II is a great choice for a young professional living in SoCal! Might I suggest the Polar/white version...Good luck.

I fell in love with the 42mm polar. I have not worn anything else in 6 months.

I have a polar expII and love it. It seemed to me easier to find a good deal on one preowned also. You won't be disappointed.
