A cool change for my 16610
I get so jealous when I see everyone posting their incoming threads for their new watches that I thought I'd do my own semi one. Thanks to SmartyJones and his wonderful end links I purchased from him and Dan Pierces recommendation for a leather band that would be compatible with my original 93250 buckle, I have what to me is a "cool change" for my beloved old friend. I thought I would share a few pictures with my fellow members. I absolutely love the fit and finish of the end links and the quality of the band I purchased from OfficialTime bands. Here ya go!

Looks pretty good..
I used to wear a TT Sub on a croc strap for several years.. When the strap wore out I never got another because world tastes have changed.. A couple of decades ago a strap was the norm and people with big metal bracelets were the odd-lot..

A cool change for my 16610
Thanks Doc, and thank you Dan for pointing me in the right direction.
And another great part is it extends the life of my new band. I hadn't put this one on because my wife had always said the oyster band looked sexy but even tonight she admitted this one looks damn sexy as well. I'm loving it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I normally dislike leather on a dive watch but... Here it is a killer!

Well thanks a lot for your comment, I debated the look as well for that reason. I did buy a very nice rubber strap with a deployment clasp as well. Since my health isn't the best I won't be doing any diving, I thought it was a nice look. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Looks great! I had no idea that a strap and buckle could even be combined like that! Extraordinarily cool!

I didn't either! Dan Pierce turned me onto them. Here is a link to the their eBay store. And let me tell you don't hesitate to contact Ms. Ann for any help. She went way above and beyond. I'm glad it's gotten some positive feedback. It's like having a new watch. And I have a rubber strap with a quality deployment clasp for summer and the beach. I'm just now getting brave enough for strap changes. Here's the link, I hope it helps someone interested. Superb quality for the price. http://stores.ebay.com/OfficialTime Rich M- Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Looks great Richard, as with all leather straps, the big secret is that they are a lot more comfortable than a metal bracelet. I have a handful of leather straps, and I swap out the bracelets to a point where some might call me excessive and obsessive...
I see your watch has lug holes, which is certainly a must if you plan to switch out the bracelets regularly... Enjoy the comfort
