What is a foreign language worth?

I've studied French, Vietnamese, and Spanish.

I figure that adjusting for inflation, learning a foreign language is worth about 37¢, as long as I remain in the US.

I personally speak French and English fluently, I also took German classes back in University but sadly I forgot most of it as I didn't have the chance to practice a lot. I for one think it's always useful to know more than one language.

With all due respect, America is a continent that includes more countries than the United States (where a lot of people know different languages anyway) and those countries have people who speak different languages than English. I trust those people do care.
