BLRO bezel swap with a BLNR?

So what if it's WG... I'm wondering if this new Pepsi bezel will pop on a BLNR? Talk about different looks for different occasions. Like Coke/Pepsi swaps in the day.

Sure but good luck getting one. They will not be floating around and the price would probably be more than you pay for a new 116710 for just the wg bezel and insert.

The bezal insert will "pop on" however Rolex won't supply just the insert.
They supply the bezel assembly whole. Which is a problem (apart from the price of WG) because you require a special tool to remove and replace a GMTIIc bezel, because of the ball bearing system Rolex uses.

It will be "cheap" to have a green GMT hand on a red blue bezel.
Not so bad with a blue GMT hand of BLNR !!

I'm not changing nothing on my BLNR, I love it as it is!

+1

Could not be happier, don't need red color on my bezel.

Sigh....I wonder about some of you. There's at least three reasons why this is a dumb idea.

-bezel is idiot proof now, Rolex made it so that you need a special press to remove/attach the bezel, and if done wrong, it seems to explode, RSC and select ADs only have it
-there's already a thread on this, except it was to highlight this new fruitless endeavour
-the price of the bezel is over $40k dollars,.....or impossible to source alone in which case it will likely cost $5k and a trip to Mars, I'd just buy a ss and be happy.

In fact I think ss steel Pepsis will get expensive now so hurry up.

People swapping to the Pepsi inlay eventually will happen just as did the smurf dial and inlay on a SS SubC.

There will likely be few around and sourcing a true insert will be both highly unlikely and if so highly expensive! Rolex won't just source them out IMHO. Remember how many blue bezel swaps for SS Sub have we seen here over the years? Two or three...certainly not many!

Logistically, probably the easiest way to source the bezel would be to purchase a WG GMT IIc.

Surely it'll happen, but it will take a while and few and far between
