I like it more than the burgundy one, but I wish it had square 'flake' plots and a date.

The more I look at it, the more I realize just how right they've got it.
The color of the bezel is just perfect. In many lighting situations it will look black but it isn't. And I like that the dial is NOT blue also. The snowflake hands on the round hour markers are also quite genius. The watch has an overall timeless Sub appearance but the hands immediately give it a distinct 'Tudor' recognition, that is all about understatement. And as I have a large wrist I love the size too, bigger than a Rolex Sub. I love my burgundy BB with it's gold, gild and the chocolate dial. It is a stunningly beautiful warm combination. So sophisticated it is almost a dress watch. I don't see me parting with that one. But the blue one - oh boy - I am very tempted.... The quintessential understated Submariner. Thank good I have six month to think about it, before it is available. |

couldnt agree more. That blue makes for the perfect daily wear. Plus Tudor was smart enough to keep chamfer edges. |

Karl i agree, square plots would be amazing but i still really like this one. One of the few modern watches id purchase. Rolex kind of let me down with the new Pepsi. Not digging the WG. |

i personally love the cold blue steel color. Reminds me of what attracted me to my red was the gunmetal insert. That color of blue will go with just about everything.

I agree Tudor's blue black bay was the best new addition. I like the blue bezel and the silver on the dial so much better than the previous version. I can only hope for a black bezel with strait hour hand some day. If a black insert becomes available (official release or after market), I may have to get one.

Rolex needs to bring chamfer edges back. Dont they see how beautiful they are on the black bay?

The Tudor Ranger & the blue Tudor sub........a pretty sharp duo.......& the Ranger has lug holes!
My favorite Rolex are the new SD & Pepsi GMT......classics rule!

The case thickness is a beast on the Black Bay. Looks great in blue, although I'm not a fan of the lug width being 22mm as it looses the proportions of the original subs.

I think that Tudor hit another real winner here. Suspect that this may be a future purchase for me.

I love the blue color. They need some end links to pull off that leather strap. I hope this would have the same blue lume as the Pelagos.

I like it but I think I prefer my burgundy one better. I love the gold and chocolate dial. I'd love to have both but can't see me parting with the one I already have.
