Thinking of flipping my 216570 for a 116233...
My current watches are a 16610, 216570 polar and 116710 BLNR. Thinking of flipping the 216570 for a 116233 which is a DJ 36mm TT fluted white dial with Romans. Any opinions?

Pictures help.
But I'd say absolutely not. I would never make that move. But that's me. What do you want?

It's a nice watch the 116233 for sure. I would never give up my 116200 mostly because it was my first Rolex and also I really enjoy the alternative look to my BLNR. Sounds like it would be a nice compliment to your other sport models and add versatility to occasions where a larger sport Rolex maybe wouldn't be your first choice.

You are sport Rolex heavy. That being said, no way I would sell or trade any of those. Start saving for the DJ. Everyone needs a DJ in their Rolex lineup, its the law :)

Nope...I would keep the EXPII, or if you are looking for a less-sporty piece, I would trade for a DJII

You can always get TT DJ everyday, 42mm exp 2 white dial is only beautiful Rolex sport model in white dial so far. Daytona and Milgauss are a lil bit dresser…… my vote is NO!

Not for a second. The 216570 is the best value sports Rolex by a country mile IMHO. Save for that preloved DJ which can be found easily.

116233 is a beautiful watch and super iconic. I'd probably save and add it. It's a watch that isn't too hard to find. On the other hand, it would give you a nice dress watch.

I'd say if you really want to, then you might as well. You have 3 sport watches, and the DJ would fill a niche. In the future, if you want another explorer, you'll certainly be able to find one.

I'll echo everyone else - don't do it!
You need both! Actually, a TT DJ, white 42mm Exp II, and a Sub are the best combo IMO! |

I have a 116233 DJ with jubilee bracelet and love it. The DJ, when new, costs more than the Explorer II, so I don't see why it would not be a good trade.
