Help. Need some expert information
I have an Explorer II 16550 Black Dial with a 9 million serial number which if I'm correct denotes a 1988 production year.
My concern is the other night I noticed that in the dark my hour markers glow as they should but none of the hands glow as brightly as the markers. Any thoughts or words of wisdom? |

If it bugs you either get the hands re-lumed or fit a replacement set of modern hands, keeping the original hands to preserve value of the watch.
I would do nothing and wait until nothing glows. That day will come. |

Thank you
Thanks for the advice I didn't know you could get the hands re lumed wonder what the cost would be for that?
I want to keep the original hands on the watch for sure and wouldn't consider even replacing them. |
