My Son and Rapper Waka Flocka Do a Side by Side Rolex Wrist Shot Just for TRF!

My oldest son's fraternity had Rapper Waka Flocka and his crew perform at their frat house this weekend. He had Waka do a tandem wrist shot. My son is wearing an Explorer 14270. Waka has his diamond DJ. IDK why the picture is side-ways????

Nice try, but this has nothing to do with pulling the ole pc police card. Read the thread, if a person can't identify the difference between condescending, judgemental and insulting, then I'd suspect their sensibilities are skewed or biased.

This comment is an example of not liking someone's style, and not judgementally biased and I can totally respect that, and I even agree.

Besides, reading the thread title, the point of this thread was, look a rap music star took a wrist shot with my son for TRF, isn't that cool", then it went somewhere else.

I think people are way oversensitive these days, they read too much into things and see the bogeyman everywhere. This Waka fellow is not exactly Jay-Z or Diddy, he's basically a one-hit wonder up to this point, and that's what I think the "who?" and other mildly provocative comments reflect.

I'm with you on this one. However since I will probably never see one in the wild, thanks for the picture of one wild and expensive Rolex!

Thanks! He was "backstage"after the show and noticed the watch. He has looked at the forum in the past and knows our fondness for wrist shots...... I'd never heard of Waka Flocka, but apparently a couple of years ago, we did well on the rap/hip hop charts.

Is that anything like Waka Jawaka Hot Rats (obscure F. Zappa reference). Nice that Waka was receptive. Nice pieces he has although I'd imagine hard to sell for their true value. I think he found the answer to the brazen Yacht Master II print on the bezel.

IDK... I know a lot more about Frank and the Mothers of Invention than I do Waka. But that only shows my age.

Then you may be familiar with the Latex Solar Beef and Captain Beefheart as well.

I'm not a fan of the large print on the YMII bezel either, l but now I'm thinking it doesn't look so bad after all.

I'm just not into diamond bezels, but to each his own of course.

What's with rappers and bling? I mean not trying to be discriminative and all - but 90% of the times I see it, it's blinged like that.

It's part of their uniform of success. I even saw a 50 cent video the other day where he was driving a Maserati and the price was written underneath it in red graphics.

Bejeweled platinum day-date and early model YM2 (gold hands give it away). I kind of like them!
