Replacement bezel 14060 (purists do NOT open)
As some of you know, I had an accident last week with my Sub. End result: bezel insert cracked.
I plan on getting a genuine replacement, but in the interim tried this - what does the forum think? (& thanks to Jocke for the tips!) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I really like it. variety is the spice of life.
If and when you get tired of this color combination, just change it. |

I'm a purist and I opened it. Aaaaaahhhhhh!
But seriously, it looks fine. I never knew why Rolex didn't offer more bezel inserts over the years

I think it works, looks fun and will do just fine for a while. As stated above, once in for service, you can make more permanent choices. Until then, enjoy the unique look.

I like the look! Plus it is not a permanent alteration, so you can buy a ceramic bezel when the time is right. Enjoy the Frankenwatch!

I've got several Nato bands for it; the one it's on now seems to be popular on the street. I've had comments about it being a beautiful watch even without it being recognized as a Rolex. For the purists out there it is a 10 minute or so task to put it back to original configuration. Notice the scratch on the bezel from swimming; glad I didn't have the stock bezel on it when that happened. I know put the watch on with the face under my wrist when I swim.
