I've recently fallen in love with the Polar 216570. Does anyone have any comparison shots to a Speedy Pro? If not, any pics and opinions on the size would be highly appreciated, thanks!

Speedy Pro and 216570 are both 42mm. I do feel the Explorer wears a little bigger than the Speedy.

They are both 42mm, as advertised. I also think the 216570 feels a little larger on the wrist, probably because the case is thicker and the bezel seems a little more wide.

First photo is side-by-side comparison. Second photo is the same, but shows yellow lines to illustrate the same diameter.

super pix! the yellow lines really help see what's the same (diameter) and different (lugs).

The Explorer II wears a bit larger on the wrist, and the Speedmaster Pro is lighter.

The lug to lug on the Explorer 2 seemed longer than the Speedy Pro when I tried it on. So much larger, in fact, that it overhung my wrist while the Speedy does not.

I really couldn't say which is my favorite. I love them all. I can't say which is my favorite but probably the Agua Terra is my least favorite which is weird since it is probably the one I lusted after most before I got it. There is nothing wrong with it and in certain light the dial just pops and the crystal is so clear sometimes it looks as if it doesn't have one. But truthfully I'm thinking about flipping it for a Pelagos.

That's funny, I spent almost 2 years lusting after an opaline AT, sold it after a couple months. Also, can you pick between the LV and Explorer II?

You absolutely have to try the EXPII on. From its first release and subsequent pictures I saw on TRF I just knew it was too big for my tastes. I was wrong!

I have both...size difference isn't as noticeable as the weight IMHO.

I also believe Rolex measures the case diameter vs. bezel. The new Expl.II bezel slightly over hangs the case and lends a larger visual presence vs. the Speedy IMHO.

I had both but flipped the Explorer a short while ago. Would agree with what someone said earlier about the Explorer feeling slightly bigger, though both wear very nicely
