What To Do? YG Daytona --> 2 watches??
To make a long story short, I had a TT Daytona since 2007 and traded that plus my SubC for a YG Daytona on Strap in Feb 2013. At the time it is what I thought I wanted, but maybe I was wrong.
I do really like the YG Daytona, but in all honesty I do not wear it much. I wear it perhaps 3-4 times per month (if that much) and the rest of the time I wear an older 16610 I picked up which I am not sentimentally attached to. I just do not have the desire to wear a YG watch to work, and when I do wear it I would usually have a suit on so its nowhere to be seen. So here is my dilemna. I could sell the 116518 + 16610 and go for a pre-loved SS Daytona for daily use and have something in TT (maybe a bluesey or DJ2) for nicer occasions. I could also add funds after selling both and go for a 116509, but that might be a bit of a stretch If I do get a SS Daytona I would definitely swap out the dial for a WG dial So TRF, I ask for some opinions/advice from one watch lover to another Below are a couple of photos, one of my old TT Daytona and my current YG Daytona on a Rubber B |

If the love is lost, trade it. How does it feel on the 3-4 times a month?

Black SS Daytona is plenty dressy. How about it and TT GMTIIc?

As for TT, I am not a fan of black dial with TT. I do like the Blue Sub-C if I can find one at a decent price, if not the TT DJ2 with cream dial is also very appealing. |

I think you should go for the WG daytona. Hard to tell that it's gold, and it's very versatile imo.

For me I'd keep it and start a tighter rotation. But if you're not planning to do so - then trade it out as you suggested.

I agree love that YG Panda, can you not wear it on w/es so that is 8 times a month which seems fine to me. Otherwise I would get a WG Panda, maybe on strap if that allows you to keep the sub, and maybe source some other dials like Slate, Meteorite, for variation.

I also put out a WTB for a 116509, so if the right one comes up I will go forward with that :) love the heft of the WG I tried one on the other day |

I'd flip it for a SS Daytona and a SS GMT.

The yellow gold Daytona is beautiful however if you are not wearing it for whatever reason I would get what will make you happy. Also something you will wear and enjoy is a huge plus IMO

If it doesn't get enough wrist time then you know what to do.

Trade it if you don't love it. Remember, it's just a thing. If you can use it as a bridge to something you really dig, then do it.

Voted for #1. However, I would get the full gold Daytona, including the bracelet.
