I say go black. Its much more classy of a watch and will go with anything. The BLNR is nice but at the same time not something I could see myself wearing everyday

Depends on what you have in collection. If you already have sub take BLNR. If your first watch I'd rather get the gmt black.

I thought black at first, but when I put the BLNR on, I noticed how subtle it is. It's really not a flashy watch other than the PCLs. I'd advise you to try them and see. You may find the black is too sedate depending what you're going for.

Black. $2,000 for half a blue bezel... Pass
The black looks like a sub with a GMT function. I prayed for a long time for that to happen and in 2008 my dream came true. The GMT IIc black was there. If it was full blue bezel and blue dial and gold like a smurf GMT, then I am thinking about it.

The GMT is a versatile watch...in any configuration. You did the right thing by getting the one you liked best. Wear it with anything. Mine goes from working around my house, fixing cars, woodworking...to my office and into the courtroom. I don't give any thought to what I am wearing it with, its a watch. Mine is red/black. Personally, I find the black to be a bit boring. I use the GMT function when I travel to keep track of local and home time. Rarely use it around town though.

Without a doubt if you can only have one I would get the BLNR. If possible I would get both

I considered this a million times, and a million pictures later I decided I like the black one better.
