SDc owners in the UK

Guys I am interested in which city you are based. My AD says I am first on the list for the new SDc but it is looking like June.

I am wondering if there is an AD bias to who has got them first and which part of the country.

Heard of some in the AD's windows so looks like Rolex have put a decent supply out so shouldn't be a long wait! And plus it saves on flippers taking the stock up.

Indeed

..... and coincidentally, the AD sales person told me that my 114060 was exactly that, as I was pondering the purchase

I was told that the store manager had been given it personally after a meeting with other managers down at Rolex last thursday, he was told by Rolex then what the production number was. If it is a lie then it is a pretty pointless one surely.

I would doubt that very strong rumour has it the SDc was going to be launched Basel 2013. So its probably they already had the cases made thats why they were at the ADs very soon after Basel 2014.

I bet he wanted a deposit too if it was the one on Clumber Street.

On a side note - just in case you are a Forest fan, I would just like to say 5-0

I was fifth on the waiting list, but I just got the call saying that as they can't get hold of the others and as i've been pestering them so much, it's now mine.

I can't wait, although it is a lot of money....eeekkkk. (Please help me justify it to the other half).

Interestingly I was told that there were only 40 or 50 that had come into the country and were at dealerships as part of the first release.

I've been trying to decide between this and the older SeaDweller. I've had my eye on an older one for my 40th (in July) for the last year, but then they announced the SDc and I've made my mind up that I think it's a better buy for me.

P.S. it's my first Rolex....and post here.

Mrs BrightonBoy, this new sea dweller is an incredible investment opportunity, and prices are sure to rocket in the future. The fact that Mr BrightonBoy gets to look after a beautiful watch is inconsequential to him as he is only thinking about you and your family's future welfare. A completely selfless act.

Here is an iPhone snap for you.

If you want a discount from an AD the only chance you will have is in Brent Cross, London where Chris, GMT master, might just give you a tiny TRF discount if you plead and beg him! They have one.

I was in an AD today (WOS) that I've done business with in the past and they showed me one that they had in the safe which was already allocated. They told me that each AD in the UK has been given one and that they anticipate the next one in 3 months time as US, China and Hong Kong will receive their initial ones.
