Inner Rehaut can be corrected...

The Rolex logo on my sub rehaut was off to the left... It went back to the London RSC and they fitted a new part adjusted the dial and all is now spot on.

Interesting... It's been discussed that the rehaut engraving is part of the entire case. I've been very fortunate that all of mine have been 100% spot on... I've had 4 so far, 2 I have kept. The others have moved on.

No part could possibly be fitted just he dial moved a fraction of a mm on the top plate, and then perhaps the bezel insert moved a fraction of a mm.

That's what I thought. I could only think that the middle case would have to be replaced, which sounds a bit unlikely

The rehaut cannot be adjusted as its part of the case, but the dial has a tiny bit of movement both ways in the dial feet when its screwed down on the top movement plate.Trouble now with this branding on the rehaut Rolex have made a rod for there own back, as now they don't make watches they just make alignment points.

Agree just cannot see anyone in there right mind going to replace a case for a purely cosmetic fraction of a mm so called rehaut branding alignment font.

Funny, but I never noticed the crown inside the inner ring, let alone whether or not it was lined up with the dial. Mine is lined up fine, so I guess there is no need to fret! I learn something everyday on TRF......Thanks

Holy crap. I never realized humans worried about such things. It's good some of us do or how else would all the engineering detail happen in this world?

So, the Rolex crown on the rehault should line up exactly with the crown on dial at 12 o'clock? What if it is slightly off centered?

Your watch is fake. Throw it away.

Just kidding. May just be off a little from factory.

That's about the nicest thing anybody ever says about the engraving.

I notice it. At a distance, when you can't make out the words, it looks like filigree. I prefer the old smooth rehauts, which create a deep-dish effect.

As for alignment - come on, it's a repeating radial pattern separated into equal twelfths directly adjacent to the dial, with a crown logo next to the dial logo. This wasn't by dumb luck. Of course the two were meant to line up! One might as well suggest that the concentricity of the hand pinions, dial, and bezel is purely coincidental.

Just looked at my Sub and it is slightly off also, I don't care so no issue here for me, didn't realize it was supposed to line up perfectly with anything
