Icon7 Upgrading my AP - need opinion

Hello AP-ers

Last year I got chance to get my first AP, it is the Novelty FC.
I like the sporty look since I am still 24 years old.

Now, I am getting chances to upgrade my AP to the Novelty RG or Schumi Ti.
How do you guys think? Should I upgrade, if so which models do you thing better the Novetly RG or Schumi Ti?

Need AP Master's Opinion :D

Cheers,
Mike

I would get the Schumi Ti 100%. The one thing I can 100% tell you is taste varies from person to person. For me not a fan of the 44rg and much prefer the 42mm. Everyone is different so best advice is go try them on and decide for yourself.

I own(ed) all of those...Ti Schumi or 44mm Ceramic would be my vote.

If you like a little more flash, then RG 44mm (I found it a little heavy).

44 RG, but if you can get the 42 RG and keep the FC that might be an idea.

Really I can't decide between those two watches, I wish I can afford both.

I am worried that I will regret to trade in the FC for new toy.
Please post if you guys have the novelty RG and Schumi Ti on one picture, I would like to compare the size differences.
For the weight, I am pretty sure the RG will be heavier if I am not wrong

Both are 44mm so no size diff, just weight due to Ti vs gold.

Here are separate pics--sorry best I can do. And yes Ti is MUCH lighter than RG:

Size is exactly the same at 44mm. The Schumi wears slightly bigger because of somewhat different shape of the pusher guards.

Gold is the answer. Forget carbon and steel. I have ap fc and it looks like a cheap toy. Next i would buy only gold

If you are considering the RG, you already are aware of the weight increase.

I like to feel the weight of my gold watches. Try them on and see which you like more.

Ti looks awesome but how can you beat the beauty of gold? Precious metal is precious for a reason. BTW, at 24 I couldn't afford a Timex so good for you that you are able to have such dilemmas.

As much as I like the Schumi Ti, I still would go for 44RG. Best option would deb Schumi RG but that would be way over budget I assume.

Good luck!

Thanks for all of the responds.

I will go to local AD next Saturday and try both of them before deciding.
But seems the RG will win this race since most of you vote for the Novelty RG.

Can't wait until Saturday to try both of them. :)

The RG is very Bad A$$...I actually like the 44mm and the 42mm RG AP's - very classy and love the weight...

But the color combo on the Schumi Ti is really nice.

Might have to flip a coin...
