AD called today......

finally, they got a white dial SS Daytona in. I will pick it up tomorrow and have pics. He won't discount it but list/no tax isn't bad. Why couldn't it have been a few weeks ago with the old list price.
I'm happy anyway with my Birthday next week. Happy Birthday to me......

Probably had it just before the increase, and held it for a couple days to extract more money out of you!

Congratulations on the white dial Daytona! Any SS Daytona bought for MSRP with no sales tax is a nice score!

I can't wait for the pictures.

That may be true David but he's not charging $12,000 like a gray.

Don't think so. Took my other "cards" in with the wifes ring for insurance quotes and he told they just received 10 watches that afternoon and said he would call if something interesting was is the batch. They have been getting a lot of premium watches lately and he has sold me a Milgauss. But who knows?

Wouldn't be surprised if it were an M. Didn't want to ask. But will find out tomorrow.

..."And he wouldn't discount it"...I'm sorry, but that has to be the quote of the decade...Couldn't get a discount on a SS Daytona...LOL.

That does sound funnier when read again. I didn't mean I was expecting a discount but he usually gives me 20% off with no tax. Except for hard to find pieces.
