Incoming Deepsea

hello All,

I posted a thread last week regarding the pricing of Rolex watches in Hong Kong. I was looking at a Deepsea. Thanks for all the feedback, particularly Old Expat Beast who helped me get things straight.

Anyway long story short I decided to go ahead and pick up the watch. I ended up going to the Dickson Watch & Jewellery Company which is the AD in the Peninsula Hotel for any of you that know HK. The service was great and I can highly recommend them. Interestingly because English and Cantonese/Mandarin are all freely spoken in HK the watch comes with two instruction booklets one for each language which I thought was cool.

Anyway here's a few pictures, hope you like them.
cheers
Nick

No, just took one link out and it's fine. I do tend to wear my watch quite loose though

Huge congratz! You will be happy with tha DSSD. Love mine and it's been 3+ years since I bought it; still rotated weekly with other watches.

Nice, take the Divers extension out and you will get the best fit..if worn loose the DSSD is a little top heavy so i am sure this one will become more of a snug fit..once sized right its very comfortable on the wrist.

Well done Nick...it's nice they gave you both booklets. Nice souvenir, that! The Peninsula is a memorable place to buy a Rolex.
