Explorer II Crown shows 1 thread when screwed in?
This is a new Explorer II. I now there should be a gap. Is it normal to have this much gap, I can see one thread from the back?
Thanks in advance, |

It's fine.
You must have some clearance plus enough to allow the gasket to be compressed over-time.

Ditto on my EXPII. Just out of curiosity I had to look at my DJ and FWIW it's perfectly flush.

Hmmmm this may be another way to tell a fake explorer.
I had not noticed that mine was like this until I looked |

Over time the threads will wear and you'll see it reduce just a little.

I should have been more worried if the crown went against the case.
