Plexi replacement for 1603?

where can i get a replacement plexi for my 1603? should i go original or replacement is fine? the orig one that came with my watch that i inherited from my father has been rounded off by too much polishing through the years..i can see some selling NOS at ebay or chrono 24..Michael young has replacements..i dont know which should i choose..thanks

Plexi crystals need to be pressed on with the bezel to ensure water tightness.

Almost any watch parts vendor will have crystals, J Borles, Otto Frei, CousinsUK, etc.

Most legitimate watch shop vendors sell replacements that meet or exceed OEM specs.

Rolex sells packaging..

I just had mine done at ABC Watchwerks for $100. The invoice said it was original.

thanks.. michael young in hk has replacements but have not seen them yet personally..chrono 24 has NOS but how will i know if its the real deal?
