Ladies TT Datejust

My mother asked me to clean her watch and give it a polish and when I looked closely at it I became a little concerned with the authenticity. My Dad bought it around 30 years ago from a jewelry store called Hershbergs from a sales associate he trusted. The dial is showing evidence of rust and the caseback seems suspicious.

Looks legit to me.
I am curious, is that is rust around the center of the dial under the hands?

It's not rust on the dial, Rolex dials of this time had breakdown of the lacquer on dials. Band looks good but in bad condition.

Could a service restore this watch??. The bracelet is super stretched and the dial has deteriorated. My Mom is 90 years old and is fine with the watch as is. I cleaned and polished it after taking the photos and it looks much better. The watch has NEVER been serviced

It's original. Looks like a 69173 model. The band is stretched and the issue with the dial is common with some watches of this vintage. It deserves a service!

Typical of rolex dials after many years. May have had some moisture at one time. Looks like a very old watch. Caseback is right and so is the watch. Actually for a 30 year old watch, the dial looks pretty good
