Rolex Date Change
I have just purchased my first rolex (1992 Explorer II.)
Previously i have owned an Omega Seamaster 300m Automatic "Bond Watch" (ref 2531.80) In regards to the date change- on the Omega beginning from about 11:30 at night it slowly began to move from the date to that of the next number and had an "in between" stage. On my rolex it doesn't have this and simply clicks at 12:00AM to the date of the next day- is this correct? or is there meant to be an in-between stage similar to that of the Omega? Sorry for heaps of questions- Just very curious with my first Rolex (which i already adore btw) |

When my date matches my IQ, it goes a couple days more before returning to 1. Not sure if that is normal

It's an instant date change, this also allows the user to adjust the time, anytime without worrying about breaking a tooth on the date wheel.

I think my DJ changes at 0003, but it's been so long that I'm not sure now. It's certainly not something that I bother with.
It will be interesting to see when my BLNR changes.
