Buying a 564 in St. Thomas
Hi all,
I am about to pull the trigger and put a deposit on the new 564 that I will pick up at the AD in St. Thomas VI in August. I have had great communications with a rep from the store. I also have done my research here in Canada and it looks like very few will be available. Is there anything I should be wary about in the purchase of the watch never having seen or worn it?? Any concerns on the P5000 movement? etc. Advice please. Thanks |

It is brand new regular production. What makes you think there will be few of these?

In Canada there are only 4 AD's. The closest to me would be Montreal (3 hour flight).
I called 3 of the 4, neither had one in stock. The Dealer in Vancouver said he would only be getting one 564. Maybe they are small dealers, I have no idea. The St. Thomas AD mentioned that at the moment they do not have any and would be getting very few between now and my visit in August. My plan is to put a deposit on one to hold it. Quite a nice watch and the price he gave me seems excellent vs list. |
