WTB: Rolex Explorer I (ref. 1016)
Hello TRF, I'm looking to get my second Rolex and going the vintage route. I've been browsing the For Sale boards daily and thought I'd post a WTB as well in case anyone out there is looking to part with their Explorer 1016 and have it go to a good home, :)
I'm looking for an Explorer I reference 1016. Ideally, the watch has all original parts (hands, bracelet) and comes with the box/papers. The box/papers aren't a deal breaker if they're missing. I am in San Francisco, CA. Thanks! |

So far, I've been contacted twice. Once by a 'Banned' member and the second time by a member with a beautiful 1016 that is outside my budget unfortunately...to the top...

Got SO close! Had a nice TRF member reach out and nearly had a deal made but I guess watches are tough to let go of, :) Still hunting! Box/papers is not nearly as important anymore considering the rarity.
