Father's day gift

A few months ago I put a TT DJ on layaway for my father. Right before it was paid off he expressed to me his holy grail watch was the Submariner 16610. I decided to keep the TT DJ for myself. I put a 16610 on layaway right after I paid off the DJ. Long story short father's day is this Sunday. I picked up my dad's sub today. This will be his first Rolex he has wanted one since he was 16.

Super nice Red, don't forget a pic or two of his face when he realizes what he's received! Also maybe a pledge membership here!

It is always nice to see a Son give back to his Father. My son (less than 3 years old) wanted to take me to go and buy a watch (BLNR is the one I want) for my birthday yesterday. We have been talking about watches for the past 6 - 9 months and given his age, he really seems to understand the concept of birthday gifts. His current favourite from my collection is the Submariner 16610. He has good taste, just like your Father.

My dad's Dream was to own one by the time he hit 50 he is 47 Right now. It seems like the older he gets the more my mom spends she drains the bank account. his back is always against the wall. I couldn't ask for a better dad I did miserable in school I always thought I was borderline slow. My dad always pumped me up and told me as long as I'm honest and work hard I could get anywhere in life. My extreme work ethic was taught to me by my father my hero!

Very nice gesture! I'm a firm believer that we should show our loved ones just how much we love them while they are here to see it. I'm sure your dad is going to love it, because it is coming from his son. I had the opportunity to give my uncle a Rolex that he has wanted for a while and I must tell you, I got more out of giving it to him than one would think. Enjoy and cherish the moment on fathers day.
