Icon6 Unusual Faded Black 1675/16750 insert

Hello All,
I wanted to share a new insert I was lucky enough to pick up, for my 16750. Anyone who knows me, knows I have a weakness for great inserts.

The black has faded to an almost anodized looking navy blue, very simmilar to some MK3 Sub inserts I've seen. It's very hard to capture just how cool this thing is. I've never seen one quite like it and yes, the back is still jet black

Thanks!

Yes, the other looks just about new. It's the correct and I believe original serif fat font that (as fas as I know) was just put on 16750's. Bluemartinifan has it's twin.

Great score, Nathaniel. You really see the contrast next to the other black. The mega fat font black is hard to come by. Agree, Russ has its twin :)

Amazing fading!
It's so interesting to see all this different shades of inserts, how the age over the decades. A nice insert can really make a huge difference and totally improve the look of an already great watch.

Here's another shot, it works really well with the blue NATO.
