I had just gotten my new DJ and I decided to mess around with the adjustment and remove a link. After testing out the fitment, I decided to add back the link. I was using a cheap precision screwdriver that was a tad thinner than the pin screw slot. It's not really noticeable, but I can see somewhat of some torque marks left on the tiny pin screws head.

Being anal that I am, can I order some new pin screws from the AD? or would I have to order a whole new link to get the new pin screw?

I've also ordered a proper screwdriver (1.6mm screwdriver someone recommended on this board that is for a Panerai) and some Loctite 220 to secure the pin screw.

I got my screw from a local shop http://www.nam-hing.com/. Of cause the price is different from it's web site.
you may try to find similar shop in your area.

For your information. As advised by the shop guy, I bought a 1.4mm for my EXP II

I think the most critical to avoid torque marks is that you have to hold the steel blade firmly by a blade stand when you screwing the pin.

I would like to know too - I took my SD to the RSC in London to get the bracelet adjusted - had a link taken out and then they put it back in and both screws on the two links are damaged and there are scratches all down the side of the clasp where the microadjustment holes are. I am really really peeved about it and am not sure if I am being anal or not. My advice is - don't adjust your watch more than is strictly necessary.

The exact same thing happened with my Ex II.

Not sure why I didn't lear my lesson then...

Just go to your nearest AD and get some screws and have the watch maker make the job for you.
