I don't think 8 % is a super deal. Some AD's could do better. I'd wait and see what Basel brings.

Still, with the right AD, you should be able to get up to 15 %.

If denmark was anywhere near Amsterdam, I would think it's highly likely you're smoking something.

I don't know where you'd get a better post-price increase deal.

grab it! nab it! keep it in the original, unused condition, there is no way to know for sure what is coming in the way of a new GMT II-C. Grab it while it's hot. Flip it later! I'd wait on buying a Sub or SD to what is new but not the GMT.

Considering the watch went up on 3/1 14.7% you have a great deal.

My AD get the new price and NO discount which is $6,825.

I thought you should pounce in it.

Randy,

IMHO, I doubt there will be a coke GMT IIc this year, but in either case, surely your AD will hold this watch for you until next week after Basel.
At that time you will know for sure if there will be a Coke GMT. IF so, you deal and wait for that, take the 8% on what your AD is holding, or try to bargain for a better deal.

I got a 10% discount on my GMT IIc last October.

I think that's pretty good, but mayber you can do better. Maybe if there is a Coke GMT at Basel, you'll be able to get a better price on the one being held for you.

Keep us posted.

First of all, nobody knows for certain if a coke GMT will come out this year. Its a possibility but its not certain.

Also, the GMTII-C is a fairly new watch with a fresh design. Therefore, discounts on it are still hard to come by, especially on the SS version.

I say you get the GMTII-C now and if a new Coke GMT comes out and you find out you still really like to own that model, you can trade your watch for it later on down the road.

First just having one is a find. Then getting old price is a find. Then 8% off the old price is a find. Need I say anymore? These are now being sold over MSRP on many occasions.

No one knows if there'll ever be a Coke GMT-IIc......mostly conjecture and wishful thinking.

Grab this one if you like it and if the price is good.
