new to the forums and I got some questions
Hi guys, I'm new to this form and I was hoping that I could get a few answer from some of the experts on here for Rolex watches. First, I was going to buy my wife a rolex later this year. I was thinking of buying a two tone Datejust. However, she has a issue of high acid in her skin and she has discolored and pitted stainless steel watches in the pass. I've known people to have more acids in their skin, but I would say that she is a moderate case. She can wear gold plated watches 'cause she has been wearing a Gucci gold plated for over ten years. I talked to a sales men and he said that Rolex uses the highest quality SS and he believes that she would be fine. I don't want to go with a solid gold Rolex (just too much), but I think a 2 tone would look nice. Also, besides the acid issue, I think that she would like a solid gold watch that would be less money that a Rolex. Can anyone tell me if I should go Datejust 2 tone or would she be better off with a gold watch of a different brand....
Also, I'm thinking of a GMT ll c or should I wait for the Submainer? |
