If he likes it . . . why not

But I guess that he could do better things in that area with his money . . .

Just my .02

I don't think that's a t-shirt.

Anyway, it's his money and those Indians really get worked up about the Guinness records.

Personally, I prefer 100% cotton.

Um.....ok...

I wonder if the guards would take a cow dung pancake if it was thrown at him...

Whatever floats his boat.

How do you wash that thing? Or do you dry clean? Or do you send it in for a polish?

He should ask a celebrity to wear so it can quadruple or 10x its value in gold. ;)

Muhammad Ali's boxing gloves he wore in 1964 auctioned for $836,500.00 and those were not even made of gold. ;) Value is in the eyes of the buyer.

Seeking some attention are we? His money, his rules! The good news is that it can be melted down into a watch or two when it's time. But my guess is, that he might make the shirt into a box of gold toothpicks instead.

The dude behind him looks like tons of fun. A little small for a body guard isn't he?

Took a second look at the picture and notice the far left guy is only wearing purple socks? And also quite a few people in the background are barefooted although I thought at first most were wearing sandals and flipflops but then took a closer look and surprised to see some in barefoot in the public place. They must have been to a sacred or holy place in that part of town.

Well the shirt is probably worth close the the value of the gold itself.
Can't exactly say the same thing about a platinum Daytona ;)

Wearing a shirt of gold in a city with millions of extremely poor people? I'm sorry but I think he's the biggest A-hole on the planet.

10's of millions of Indian women walk around everyday withI A LOT of 24 karat gold on in the form of bangles and necklesses. It is part of the culture. The shirt of gold sticks out because... its a shirt of gold ;)
It's his money.. I would rather have a couple Daytonas and Cessna however.

I am not going to go so far as to call him an A-hole, but with all the poverty in Mumbai that money/gold could have been much better spent.

Perhaps if he gets the record he will then feed a few hungry people.
