Opinions on a 5512
This is on it's way to me right now. 5512 with 5513 case back. these are the only pics I've received. Is this a MKI fat font insert? It's a 1974 model year with 9315 band, I don't know what end links are on it yet. Lugs appear to be very nice, well the one I can see in the pic is. Does anything stand out as being a problem? Thanks

It also appears to have a trip lock crown, is this correct for this model?

Triplock was introduced around 1972. 9315 is the correct bracelet. When you get the watch, place some better photos in this thread - move the hands to a position so all the writing and coronet are clearly visible. Also, list a partial serial number.

From what I can see of the dial, it looks like a very nice non serif dial which should be in the correct serial range for a case from 1974. The case looks well preserved judging by the crown guards and the sharp chamfered edge on the second photo you posted.
A partial serial number would be nice, but please don't feel compelled to take the movement out. A shot with the case back off, if you are inclined will suffice.

Is it the angle of the watch, or do the 10 and 20 on the insert look very thin compared to the 30, 40, and 50?
