Just received my first Rolex, heck my first watch!
I've been a watch fanatic for a year now and have only desired Audemars Piguet and Patek. I tried on a RO 15400ST numerous times and right when I was about to pull the trigger the wife decides she also likes watches now lol. She tried on a 36 mm datejust and fell in love. Long story short AP was out on my blue collar wages and got what I consider a beautiful piece thanks to DavidSW
My first and only watch for now.... |

Appreciate the warm welcome and compliments. The wife is wearing it to work tomorrow actually lol. I'm buying her the datejust 36mm for Christmas. Her liking that watch got me on this forum researching rolex and now I own and love one. Funny how it works sometimes.
I have a 7 1/2" wrist but my wrist is wide from what I've noticed, so I followed everyone's advice meaning my wife and the sales people and stuck to looking at only 41-44mm watches. |

Congrats, I always feel the the Polar Exp. 2 is a great and modern choice. I think it's actually great news the misses is on board as well. I think there will be a great family collection in the future...and DavidSW is the way to go. Always a smart choice...

Looks Good!
For some reason I always think this is a very 'modern', 'smart' looking model. I don't always think 'modern' is good but in this model it definitely IS.

Congrats to you both - the Polar 216570 is a fantastic watch. Very under rated yet sporty and able to dress up or down. Far more practical than the AP IMO, I know as I have had both - enjoy!
