The waiting game begins

After months of watchrecon notifying me of newly posted and bumped ads for a YM 16622, I finally decided to pull the trigger. Well, let go of my beloved Tudor 79260P chronograph as part of the trade. The review written up by SLRdude(Chip) did help a lot with the decision making. Well, all I can say is I hope I can sleep for the next few days. of course, pictures are a must when it arrives.

This is the most painful part of buying a watch. Awesome choice.

I agree, i think it is more painful than surgery. At least with surgery, you will be knocked out. Haha.

Congrats on the new acquisition! You are going to love it. Remember the anticipation is the fun part (hard to realize at the time of course) and looking forward to the pics when it arrives

I agree. If you didn't send it keep it. I am sorry I let every watch but one go.

Congrats! I learned very early on that I am a hoarder and that I have a problem letting watches go...especially vintage!

You will love it I will most probably get one down the road again and this time with the bracelet (tried sourcing its too expensive, costs 1/2 to 3/4 the watch depending where)

Due to lack of sleep, I thought the earthquake during dawn was just a hallucination. Good thing news outlets confirmed that I am not going crazy.

I think you will be pleased when it arrives. My 16622 Yacht-Master is beautiful and one of my most favorite. Welcome to the club!

It is packed and on its way to my wrist! I would say 16 more hours and I will be united with one of my grails.
