Got this 18038 from ebay

saw this listed by a Korean seller, it has very nice dial and case and although the bids were high, decided to go for and its mine now.

Congrats! That's a beautiful dial. One of my two favorite Day-Date dials (the other is Tiger Eye and yes I'm a child of the 70's!)
Looks fantastic with the end links.
Have those end links lying around in a drawer do you? 😄

Bryan, you really spot on. Those end links were from my sold 18038. Actually already trimmed down my DD collection but this one just blown me away.

Love the dial on that watch! The burl wood and lapis dials are my favorites. Actually saw a lapis dial on the airport train at SFO a few years ago and struck up a conversation with the owner.
