MontBlanc Boutique's Private Fall Sale:

Here in America, at least in their store in Chicago, MontBlanc is currently running their Private Fall Sale on Select pens and other products. The Sale runs through Wednesday October 1, 2014 and the selected items on sale are between 50%-70% off Retail prices.....

I plan on going by the store this weekend on the way to the North suburbs to go to the Chicago Botanic Gardens!!!

For pens ? in Australia, never going to happen in 1000 life times. Leather goods only.

I did manage to pick up a lot of nice leather goods however. Including belts.

Hey Lion, if you are able to find out which pen items are on sale can you let me know ?

Maybe we can do business ;)

I'm after an organiser and always open to new pens. 146 platinum would be nice.

I managed to get a very good deal on an organiser. You should check out the Australian Mont Blanc stores Shaun. Some have them.

How do you find out about the sales. I mean the perth store has my details on their system. But I always feel the boutiques are one place to not ask for a discount.

They do run sale here in the Melbourne boutique. I received an invitation around Nov a couple of years ago. 15-20% off on selected items, they did put some pens, cufflinks, tiepin, etc there.

And and...
Did you get yourself some new toys?

I also got an invitation for 1 November. Don't know if I will go to the shop.
Any purchase would be a impulsive buy. At the moment I have enough pens.

Maybe just go for a glimpse at the new skeleton?

No, unfortunately my watch/Fountain pen stash is at zero so I decided it was best not to visit and tempt myself...there's always next Spring in 2015!!!

Oh P.S.....back in September(if I remember correctly or it was in August) I bought a new Fountain pen...a Pilot, Justus 95. it has a 14K nib and it's adjustable to being flexible to rigid or any step in between!!!

Good/wise choice.
Still thinking go/not to go.
Don't need a fp, but what I have read above cufflinks or belt for some good discount

Yes I have read that you like nibs at max F-nib. Sounds like you bought something really useful. Enjoy!

And let grande geometric dimension also with 25% discount. A lot of Bohemes with 40% discount.
