1963 watch ads from LIFE magazine
I recently thumbed through a 1963 LIFE magazine at my folks' place and wow, what time warp.
I was surprised by the watch ads, which were numerous and very focused on touting the movement. Enjoy -- oh, and I threw in a non-horology extra….you WON'T BELIEVE the ad for a rum drink. I can't believe such things passed as normal. |

This clown is drinking daiquiris and they insinuate he is going to get a polishing? But I digress  I love reading old print ADs. Gives so much context to generations past. |
