Icon14 Fascinating Documentary on Japanese Watches

Great half-hour documentary here about the history of Japanese clocks and watches. From the incredible myriad-year clock (which really has to be seen to be believed) to the quartz revolution, it's really interesting and might give you a new appreciation for Japanese timepieces.

The video was very fascinating. I also watched a couple of related videos on independent Swiss watchmakers and iconic Rolex watches. All very interesting.

Yep watched that one, thanks.

Watched this one today, is really good, little long winded, all about the independent watchmakers, all hand-made.

Great video, Adam! Thanks for sharing it. I never knew that at one time the Japanese had a totally different way of measuring time.

I'll have to check this vid out. I love Japanese watches. I've had several over the years. I think many are every bit as good, if not better than, many much revered Swiss brands.

I have a Seiko on my wrist tonight!
