Please help. How do I reset the hour dial on the Daytona??
Does anyone know how to reset the hour dial on a daytona? When I reset the chronograph the hour dial goes to 10.5 vs. 12 (i.e. 3 clicks too far anti-clockwise).
Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks so much!! |

It sounds like you are referring to the 12 hour sub-dial.
There are some maneuvers you can make to get the second hand zeroed out, but if the sub-dial does not reset, then there is something wrong.. The easiest problem would be a loose hand that has spun on the shaft, and it can be corrected in short order by any competent watchmaker. If the movement is messed up, and it is a new one, there are not many qualified watchmakers on the 4130 movement, so I would say it might have to go back..
