What do you wish Rolex would make with their watches?

What would you have Rolex make for their watches (that they will probably never do)?

Personally I would love a Rolex watch/jewelry box that could hold 10 or so watches on top, along with other men's jewelry/luxury items in the bottom. Possibly even a watch-winder model in addition to a standard.

Also, I've always wished that Rolex would make ID bracelets based off their Oyster and President bracelets just to wear on the right wrist to match the left's watch. Kind of like this:

A few occasionally pick up a Rolex watch box, presumably that are ex AD's (Toph showed of his a few weeks back). I think this would be a slam dunk for Rolex but guess it does not have the margins that the watches make. I guess on the same lines a small carry pack (like the Oakley) and a winder would also be a good seller.

Personally I am just happy buying the watches myself.

You know what else? Make the metal bracelets interchangeable with the leather straps! Pointless "filler" space between the lugs of leather band models pisses me off. At least Tudor got it right with the interchangeability concept

A new line of Rolex watch boxes, in varying sizes would be very nice. I am very surprised that they don't do this already. They would sell like crazy, if you ask me.

A couple of real ones on eBay right now, actual real ones I know, I am shocked, they are definitely real ones in a lot of two, it may be your chance to own one. Cheers.

Good thing they make enough off the watches not to start slapping the coronet on all kinds of extraneous junk. If you want a Rolex, you buy a Rolex watch.

Merchandise may indeed water down the Rolex brand, but Harley Davidson makes more from branded merchandise than they do from selling motorcycles.

I have never seen a Rolex hat without other advertising on it. I have always wanted a hat with just the crown and rolex written under it. There are certainly a lot of fakes around, a genuine one would be on my Christmas list.

As for me, a hat or shirt that says Rolex on it would immediately get donated to the Goodwill. Wearing a Rolex on your wrist makes a loud enough statement on its own, yet still still allows you to somewhat fly under the radar.

Could you imagine what type of response you would get if people saw you in a hat with Rolex written in 5 in. letters?

They would look at your face, your hat, then your wrist without fail! Who needs to draw that much attention?

Rolex is quite good in watchmaker . I want to see them create more complicated watch such as Tourbillon mechanism , minute repeater or perpetual calender . May be just Limited Edition.

You can just get a jeweler to make one for you and it'll be at a much cheaper price.

I think most ADs will just give them out in place of discounts. I usually get a winder free with almost all my watch purchases and a Rolex watch box or winder were available for sale, I'd just get my AD to include one for free.

To me it's alright to be known for something. Rolex is known for watches and practically only makes watches with the rare promotional exceptions. Yet other specialized companies, such as Montblanc branches out. Montblanc is a pen company yet has branched out to watches, other jewelry, leather goods, cologne, etc, and I think it only adds value to the company. I wish Rolex would take that type route with other high-end goods as well. From a capitalist's perspective it makes perfect sense.

I might be in the minority but I wouldn't want Rolex to branch out and sell/produce jewelry or pens or whatever other lifestyle items that isn't watch related.

Maybe watch accessories and watch boxes are fine but other than that, the promotional stuff are good enough.
