Love the kids on the video and their ignorance. Is that an Acura NSX? Corvette?

So sad...
So... Is it safe to wear a Rolex while refueling your Porsche? |

Interesting design Porsche has come up with. Self destructs when you get tired of it!

Bummer, reckon larger Canadian gas stations don't have foam fire extinguishing systems in place like around here.

I'm not sure. But I'm guessing if I saw a raging fire in front of a gas pump I might be motivated to do a U turn and not drive past it. But that's me.

Not just you, I'd get the hell outta there as fast as I can, I mean you're not allowed to smoke at a gas station for a reason, well this is a lot more heat than a cigarette.

I saw this on our news. I'll be in Caledon this weekend. There will be a lawsuit here for sure. If not the owner, then the insurer will go after Porsche.

That blows. I wouldn't even try to put it out if they had fire extinguishers laying around. No way I want a million dollar car with fire damage in the auto history lol that combined with risking your life obviously.

This doesn't surprise me at all. Last week when I was filling up my car, the auto shut off on the pump failed and gas started spilling out of the tank because it was full. Luckily, I caught it right away so it wasn't a big deal, but things like this do happen.

Everything is great. Left my job of 25 years 2 months ago and now I'm doing independent IT consulting and loving it. No more corporate BS for me!
Found out today one of my clients has an Aston-Martin DBS, going to have to talk him into letting me take it for spin! How's the airplane biz? |

No Porsche deserves to go out like this. I'm guessing operator error.

So they spilled fuel on the upper exhaust pipe (Unique to the 918). Porsche is going to have to scramble over this. (RECALL)... Oh and the $845K is base price. Most of these cars are at $900k-$1M after taxes.
They just got done with the GT3 Fiasco, now this.
