100% personal opinion, I think all things being equal a jubilee is worth more as there are just less of them on wrists...

The Oyster bracelet would be my choice as I feel the Jubilee bracelet is better served for the Datejust. Something just seems off to me when I see a sport watch with a Jubilee bracelet.

I agree, I feel the jubilee dresses up the DJ real nice. The GMT is sportier and works better on Oyster for me.

I like the Jubilee on the 16710 just fine but not so much on the 16713. Not sure why, but there's a difference to my eye. I guess the stripe of PCLs on the Oyster just make the TT watch pop a little more.
Can't really address value or resale.

I don't really like the TT on oyster. I think TT looks best on the jubilee bracelet.

I had a Jubilee on my GMT for about eight years and remember it being marginally more comfortable than the original 7836 folded Oyster that literally wore out in only a few years after purchased new. Hindsight is better than foresight and I wish I had not tossed that worn-out original band in the garbage! Back in the 1970s I was clueless about the worth of worn-out or faded Rolex parts! I fortunately didn't toss my original fat-font bezel after I lost it doing yard work, bought a replacement, and found it again a few years later. I digress, so back on subject...
In 1985 I decided to go with a Flip-Lock Oyster (93150) to replace the Jubilee, which was considerably worn, mostly because I thought it would be more durable. It was indeed more robust lasting 20 years showing only moderate wear, and earlier this year I sent it to Michael Young for a renewal. It's now on my wrist with the same GMT looking like new and born again. On a side note I had a TT GMT 1675 for a few years and I found it to wear at an alarming rate, even faster than the SS version. I quit wearing it because of the wear rate and knowing the cost of a replacement. That was before Michael Young came into the picture to resurrect dying bracelets. I can't fault anyone for buying a Jubilee for cosmetic or comfort considerations, but I'll stick with the Oyster bands from now on. To me they are as comfortable, or very close, look better on a tool watch, and in my experience are more durable.

IMO jubilee looks great on a date just. I like the TT jubilee and I have mixed feelings about SS jubilee. On the other hand, Oyster ROCKS! Even with PCL

I prefer oyster on the GMT TT.....sportier although I acknowledge the jubilee hides scratches and dings better than the oyster.

Oyster everytime !!!!! It's Classic and clean looking and always looks good. i feel that the Jubilee is too fussy better suited to a dress watch. The "President" is a great alternative as it's got a similar look to the Jubilee but more robust and sportier looking like the Oyster bracelet.

I think the TT Jubilee is the way to go, that said i have an oyster TT on my Root Beer. Had a jubilee on my DJ and had enjoyed it, but they do like to stretch.

I like TT Jubilee. There are two probes though. First is it's a dated look, very 80's. There is nothing wrong with that but many have mixed emotions about that. The second is stretch. The band will stretch quickly. I think it's more comfortable and on a root beer seems more appropriate. I have owned both on a GMT. The Jubilee will not show scratches at all which can offset the stretching and a dated look can also be a vintage look. Bottom line is you can't go wrong. I'm not a fan of two tone in general but a two tone GMT is a notable exception. ESPECIALLY a a root beer. That was my Grail watch when I was a teenager. Good luck.

Jubilee won't show scratches as an oyster would.
Both very comfortable - the oyster is sportier. |

It's inconsequential to me which is more desirable. It's all about preference for me and I prefer the look and feel of an Oyster bracelet.
