I'd take the 15400, but I'm not a fan of two tone watches.

Keep the 116613 LB. Not an AP fan. The LB is and always will be a timeless classic. Once gone from your collection, regret is sure to come down the road.

Take the 15400. It's a gorgeous piece and you can always trade for a bluesy again if you don't end up loving the ap.

I'll take the trade, if you don't like the AP you can always get the bluesy again and have extra money left over.

I love the AP, but, remember if it needs a service anytime in the near future, you're looking around 3k from AP ... The cost of owning an AP is often forgotten .. Perhaps that's why he's proposing this trade?

AP
+Worth more +Less common in the wild +Sharp Sub +Great Looking +Flashy -Two Tone Subs do not hold value as well as SS models -Your sub looks like the powder blue dial? Not as desirable as the new sunburst blue I would go with AP |

This sounds like good advice to me. As for servicing, where does this figure of 3k come from. I was told 1.5k....

I would do the trade. If you end up not loving the 15400, I doubt you would have any problem straight trading it for a new 116613LB.

I'm a very shallow watch buyer, it's all about looks and appearances to me.
Forget the economics, the trade-in value, the maintenance cost etc. and just ask yourself, would the AP give you more pleasure to look at on your wrist than the TT Sub? If yes, then do the trade. |

There is some good advice above about checking on upcoming service that might be needed on the AP. If there is not service required anytime soon I would make the trade. I am not too keen on two-tone watches, even if this is one of the best. What dial option does the AP come with?

The ap 15400 is def very gorgeous. I'd make that trade only if i were certain i would never missed my tt sub. I have tt sub LN right now and if you asked me i wouldnt do that trade coz i am so in love with my tt sub c LN. What ever you decide make sure you are certain.
