Would you wear a Purple Dial watch?

I really am a fan of Purple. I would like to see Rolex bring more of this shade into the line up.

The red grape is nice but I would like to see a more masculine deep Violet.
I'd wear it if it was in a larger watch.
Any other Purple fans?

Purple explained:Purple was the color worn by Roman Emperors and magistrates, and later by Roman Catholic bishops. Since that time, purple has been commonly associated with royalty and piety. This said.. Perfect for a Rolex

I like purple but worry that I would get tired of that color quickly.

It's a great looking watch. I would definitely wear it but get it for my wife and tell people it's hers.

Agree with both. And I did get tired of the Hulk in 3 months.

But purple would be very very low on colors I would want on my watch. Probably one step above pink.

That's a fair answer.. I agree, not a Hulk fan either.. Maybe because I prefer blues and reds and combinations of the two over greens.

I like the grape a lot, and if I were to buy a new Rolex that'd be it. But I agree it'd be cool to have a deeper purple option in the lineup.

A beautiful 1959 or '58 Olds you have there.

A few years ago I fell in love with a 1957 88 two door ht that Bud Ward in Little Rock was selling, but we could not get together on price.

I've been eyeing that watch in an AD display more than once. The dial looks great in real life. I could easily see myself wearing that one.

My wife does

It's a cool dial color. Sometimes looks deep blue, sometime black and sometimes different shades of purple.
